S.E.A. v0.1.0

Today the No Video Jam began. For the past six hours I’ve been setting up the project. This involved:

  • finalizing my game design document, which I’ve spent the past two weeks thinking about
  • initializing my repository using my game engine as a template
  • developing a visual identity
  • configuring the control scheme for keyboard and gamepads
  • implementing an accessible UI and a basic menu system
  • implementing a saving system with autosaves
  • writing basic user documentation
  • setting up this game page

This version is not playable. Until the jam ends I plan on releasing daily builds that reflect my progress. Eventually this will turn into something cool, I hope.
