E.X.O. v0.7.0

Today I returned to full-time development through the weekend. I made some progress on world generation, sound design, and movement mechanics with this build.

  • combining biomes into a unified world generator (disabled until bugs fixed)
  • implementing footstep sounds while in bipedal form
  • adding an engine whine sound when the exosuit is performing work
  • improving physics related to climbing slopes and bouncing around
  • various tweaks and fixes

Tomorrow I plan to continue this direction with more vehicle sounds and bug fixes. My hope is to resolve issues with world generation and movement so I can advance other aspects, including material spawning and outlining the crafting system.
