Last night my partner, whose gaming experience starts and ends at Stardew Valley, playtested the game for the first time. I was so delighted that they could not put the game down! and easily surpassed my high score! We talked through some feedback that they had, which will inform future builds.
Today was a bit of a lighter work day for me. This build introduces directional audio cues for the fishing locations. Once in range, a tremolo effect is applied to indicate that fish can be caught.
I anticipate that the next few days will continue to be light, as the current feature set is beginning to be quite polished. This weekend I’m planning a sprint to implement the fishing minigame. Once set in motion, a variety of tasks will be unblocked for the coming weeks.
